I’m Ivan, a freelance photographer with a passion for nature and animals. I specialize in pet portraits, as well as wildlife and insect photography—capturing character, detail, and beauty in every shot.
My Mission
Celebrate the beauty and individuality of your beloved pets through timeless photography that transforms precious moments into lasting memories.
Additionally, life is all about giving back and helping as much as we can.
Therefore, 10% of the base package will be donated to animal shelters and organisations in your name.
If your pet comes from a shelter, we can also donate to this organisation if you wish.

To ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for both you and your furry friend, I kindly ask that you share a brief description of your pet. Also bring along their favourate treats and toys. This helps me build trust and create a relaxed, fun atmosphere during our session.
I offer three distinct styles of portrait sessions: Studio, Action, and Outdoor. In order to make everything run smoothly and organise the day effectivley, only one style is possible per booking.

Studio Portraits
The studio is fully equipped with professional lighting, backdrops, and a selection of accessories to create the ideal environment for your pet's portrait session. For pets who feel more comfortable at home—such as cats or more sensitive animals—a portable studio setup can also be arranged at your location at extra cost. The goal is always to capture your furry companion at their most relaxed and authentic.
ACTION PORTRAITS
As with any outdoor activity, weather plays a crucial role—especially when it comes to lighting. Overcast or rainy days often result in flat, uninspiring light, and of course, moisture and photography equipment don’t make the best match. We'll keep a close eye on the forecast and choose a day with the most suitable conditions to ensure the best possible results.
OUTDOOR PORTRAITS
As with action portraits, weather remains a key factor in outdoor sessions.
However, since your pet will be in a more stationary pose, we can enhance the natural light with additional lighting to create depth, contrast, and a more dynamic visual atmosphere.
Best time of day is sunrise or sunset. Usually avoiding the harsh midday light.

What to Expect from Your Photography Session
To help you prepare and know exactly what to expect, here’s a step-by-step overview of how a typical pet photography session works:
1. Booking Your Session
To get started, simply fill out the request form below and include as much detail as possible. The key information I need includes:

Your pet’s name, species, and breed

Any behavioral notes (e.g., anxious around other dogs, sensitive to loud noises)

Any special needs or requirements (e.g., litter box access for cats)
2. Scheduling
Once I receive your request, I’ll reach out via email with 2–3 available date options. If you're booking an outdoor session, we’ll also take the weather forecast into consideration to ensure the best conditions.
3. Session Day
During the session, your presence and support will be invaluable. Helping to calm, reward, and reassure your pet will make a big difference. After a few minutes, most pets settle in—and that’s when the real magic happens!
4. After the Shoot
At the end of the session, I’ll provide an invoice. I’ll then begin carefully processing your photos and notify you when your gallery is ready—usually within a few days.
5. Delivery:
Once payment is received (cash or bank transfer), you’ll receive a download link for your final images.
Prints are not available yet, but I’m happy to recommend trusted print services.

Why would I choose film and not digital
For those who share a deep passion for photography, I offer a truly unique experience.
While digital workflows are incredibly efficient, some moments are best captured the traditional way—with light, chemistry, and a touch of nostalgia. Film photography offers a timeless quality that digital often can’t replicate.
If you choose this add-on, you’ll also receive four high-resolution digital images alongside your film portraits.
Please note: For an authentic film experience, I use a vintage Nikon camera from 1970s with fully manual exposure and focus.
Due to the unpredictable nature of pets and the limitations of manual settings, it’s important to understand that not every frame on the 36-exposure roll will be perfectly sharp or exposed. This is part of the charm—and challenge—of shooting with film, and it adds to the uniqueness of each final image.
